The cottage is situated half an hour from St. Malo, a five minute drive from the centre of medieval Dol de Bretagne and ten minutes away from the beaches of the bay of Saint Malo.

The ground floor comprises a large living area with kitchen area and working stone fireplace. The floor is tiled.  There is a TV point and satellite providing English television as well as a French TV aerial.

The area is delightful, in the countryside but close to civilisation.  Dol de Bretagne is a mediaeval market town with timbered houses and holds a huge market on Saturday mornings. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars.  There is a hypermarket a short distance away.

The area is very proud of the opening of the biggest cabaret in North West France this year, which is roughly a quarter of an hour drive from the house and the nearby village (one minute drive away) has shops, bar and a restaurant.
