From Deborah - (Thank you Deborah !!!)-

I just wanted to say that I had a wonderful time looking around your website! It's so informative, I loved the music and particularly liked the 'myths and legends' page. We're off to Normandy at the end of August and your site has made me even more excited about my holiday! Thank you Deborah x Holistic Therapist and Infant Massage Instructor

From Margaret .......

We had been looking for a house in Brittany for a long time, as we had spent a lot of holidays there when our children were young.  I had no idea of how to find a house, where to look or what to do, so it was proving nigh impossible.  However, I was scrolling through Friends Reunited one day on the computer, and decided to look at the very first school I attended.  I opened it up, and began to read some of the entries.  I came upon one for a lady called Maureen Stone, whose name I did not know. When I read her entry, I saw that she is living in Brittany and finding houses for people.  I got in touch with Maureen, (now Draisey), and arranged to meet with her and her husband, Bob.   They showed us several houses, and on our second visit, we saw the one we have now bought.  Maureen took us through all the legalities in her usual very calm fashion, and we felt entirely comfortable with the whole procedure.  We now have a lovely house in Guiscriff, which we are doing up, and we have spent many happy hours there.   We can only say thank you to Friends Reunited and also to Maureen and Bob Draisey.  From Friends Reunited to French Reality.         Margaret Cooke.

Good Evening from Australia .........

My family on both sides is reported to have originated from Normandy and/or Brittany. We believe that either Thomas De Baumford or a De Baumford fought with William the Conquerer but so far have been unable to prove the link.  Could you direct us to anyone or any organisation in Normandy or Brittany who has access to a list of Nobles who fought under William the Conquerer or any towns in these areas possibly related to "De Baumford" or "loxtone"?  Many Thanks
