Normandy Highlights

11th to 16th July 2010

La Tour des Portes de la Manche  sailing race starts this year in Jersey.  The competitors will sail between seven channel ports, five of which are in France and two in the Channel Islands, the third stage being Guernsey!!

Starting in Jersey on the 11th July, the competitors then sail to Granville , then on the 12th to Barneville Carteret and to Guernsey on the 13th .  From there they sail to Port Dielette on the 14th, to Cherbourg Octeville on the 15th and then around to Saint Vaast La Houge on 16th July. 

There are five teams:

Fleet 1 : Yellow pennant includes John Squires from Guernsey,

Fleet 2 : Blue pennant

Fleet 3 : White pennant

Fleet 4 : Orange pennant - includes John Smith from Jersey and Aden Clark from Guernsey

Fleet 5 : Pink pennant  -  includes Roger Martel from Guernsey

 

Normandie Impressionniste Festival 

Over two hundred events will take place from June to September 2010 throughout Normandy. -more information to come!
